We made these lightweight medium large (1 3/4 inch long) hammered teardrop earrings from solid sterling silver. We have several sizes of tear drop earrings, and these are the medium large size.
They are USA artisan made and handcrafted. We have cut them, textured them with a hammer, dapped them to give them a bit of a dome shape, and tumble polished them for shine and strength.
These earrings are hung on your choice of sterling silver french hook earwires or sterling silver lever-backs. I've included a picture of the leverback ear wires so that you can see what they look like. It costs $3 more for the leverback earwires.
The widest part of the teardrop is about an inch (25 mm) and the length of the tear drop is 1-1/8" (31 mm) long. The length of the entire earring is about 1-3/4" (45 mm) long.
