We made these lightweight hammered sterling silver disc earrings from solid sterling silver. These are our medium large size. We hammered them over and over to give them a lovely pebbled texture that draws light in next to your face.
They are comfortable to wear and are a good size, just getting to be on the big side. Please see the pictures to help you imagine the size of these. They are my medium-large size. It's really hard to guess how big things are when you see them online, but these are about the diameter of a "D" battery, if that helps.
The discs are 1-1/4 inches in diameter (approx. 32 mm) and the entire earring is 1-7/8" (4.7 cm) long, including the earwires.
These earrings are hung on your choice of sterling silver french hook earwires or sterling silver leverbacks for $3 more. I've included a picture of the leverback ear wires so that you can see what they look like.
