We made these very small tiny dot domed 14K gold filled earrings from glowing gold-filled hammered discs that are 3/8 inch in diameter. They are teeny tiny! They're little and lightweight and will add just a flash of gold to your ensemble. They are so understated and comfortable, you'll forget that you're wearing them.
These hammered discs are approx 10 mm in diameter (3/8"). That is really double extra small. (: The entire earrings are a dainty 5/8" (1.8 cm) long.
14K gold filled metal is a base metal with a 5% coating of gold firmly bonded to the outside. The coating is about 100 times thicker than gold plating, so it can hold up much better than plated items, but it is also much less expensive than solid gold.
They're hung directly on gold filled french hook earwires or you can choose gold-filled leverbacks for $9 more.
